Upgrading Sony Vaio Laptop or Buying New

Well I have a sony vaio laptop, among other desktops. Anyway I am contemplating upgrading it or buying a new notebook.

The specs:

PCG FX410
Intel Celeron 900mhz
80 gb 5400 rpm (upgraded)
512 ram (upgraded)
XP Home
Intel (R) 82815 video

Now I am wondering if I can upgrade the video card, or CPU, ideally I would like to go with a 2.4 ghz celeron and at least a Intel Extreme Graphics 82845, 82865, or 82915.

I am leaning towards buying a new one, but I love this laptop, I gone through two newer laptops since I bought this and sent back both, the size and feel of this one is great. Anyway if I am to buy a new, what do you feel would be a good asking price? Thanks in advance.

No, No, No.

Laptops are extremely difficult to upgrade, and your upgrade path is likely extremely limited. Basically CPU upgrades are hard to do and usually not worth it, you certainly are not going to be able to put in a 2.4ghz anything into that. Video card upgrade is basically impossible.

Just sell it and get something new.

For a price I say somewhere in the $450-550 ballpark considering you have upgraded some components.
