Upgrading Shuttle PSU

Well it is about time for CPL again and rather than lugging my tower i would like to use my dust collecting shuttle. I originally had my system in this shuttle but due to its inability to handly my 6800GT in any game (mainly cs) I decided to go back to a full tower.

The shuttle model that i have is the SK83G. It currently boasts a whopping 240W PSU that is just not enough for my video card. By upgrading to the 300W PSU i know that it will more than likely work.

Now heres the problem. My case chasis is not designed for the 300W PSU that it sold. It looks as if the new PSU is slightly taller. My question is, what kind of modding do you think it would take to make this fit. And has anyone tried it themselves. Thanks.

My friend runs a computer shop and has stopped selling similar shuttle rigs because of RMAs on PSUs. Too little, too late. That's how he put it. You can try to adapt but it maybe very difficult. You can do better with a PC-7 case and add a Fortron 450W. Its your choice naturally, but my suggestion comes with actual occurences. Here's a inexpensive case to start with or not.

Basic Dremel kit: $30.00
Pencil/measuring tape/safety glasses: $15.00
Getting that PSU to fit into that Shuttle: Priceless

I'm pretty sure all you'd need is a nibbler. I've seen ppl. putting the PC50 300W PSU's in the AMD Shuttles and all they had to do was make the opening in the back a little bigger.
