Upgrading SBS Standard to Preimum...difficult?

I need to upgrade SBS standard to Premium edition. Is it too difficult?

I have never worked with SBS before BUT have installed plenty of Windows systems....heck I even remember running a BBS system off my C64!!!

Any advice would be great.

Upgrading SBS Standard to Premium is just a matter of installing the ISA and SQL install disks. Doing the necessary preliminary patches, doing the install, and doing the current updates is, maybe, two hours of work.

CONFIGURING ISA and SQL can, of course, be anything from a few mouse-clicks to days of work. That'll depend on what you want to do with them and how well you understand how they work. SBS will configure automatically configure ISA to give you the "typical" settings that most businesses need. Setting up VPN access, for instance, is pretty easy.

Remember that SBS 2003 needs SP1 installed to allow installation of ISA 2004, which is the version you want.
