Upgrading ram

Hello,
Looking to up the quantity of ram in my system:

Specs:
Asrock z77 Extreme4
Intel i5-3570k
G.skill Ares Series 8gb (2x4) came bundled with mobo
Samsung 830, 256 GB
Geforce GTS 250 (upgrading after 7xx launch)

Retyping this after bungling it last night. I browse these forums enough, should know better than to post while tired. 😛

Budget: I'm looking about 100-150 for 16gb, in whatever $:stick ratio.

My current plan is to upgrade to Haswell in the near future. I have a potential buyer for at least my current mobo, processor, and probably the ram. So I can either double up my G.skill ares, or get new sticks entirely. If the later: 2x16 would be preferable over 4x4, correct? Thought that's what I read in another thread. I have a great history with G.skill, but not adverse to other brands.

Just looking for some ideas, and if anyone has a preference in regards to heavy gaming, and light video editing.
Thanks!

Why would you not pay for another 8GB? You're not going to save more than $15, any time soon.
