I'm currently running 640MB of RAM on my P4 2.66
One stick is 512mb of Kingston HyperX PC2700
The other is some generic 128mb stick that came with the Dell
I'm looking to max out my memory slots with dual 512s... I haven't overclocked my CPU(nor do I plan to), but I think I might need more RAM for gaming. Should I fork over the extra $20 for another stick of HyperX or just go with an OEM stick of Kingston 512?
Is there a difference in reliability and perfomance? Will having a OEM stick drag down the performance of my existing 512 of HyperX?
