Upgrading Radeon drivers from CD to the latest Beta's...

What is the best way to install the new beta drivers after using the CD to initially install the card (Radeon 64MB DDR.)

let me know the methods of your madness ;) TIA!

I wouldnt even use the cd...just set the display adapter to standard vga and dl the newest drivers and unzip them to a directory. Remove the display adapater, restart, and when it looks for new drivers, just point it to the directory on your hd.

Then how would I install all the latest ATi applications (Media Center I think) that come on the install disk?

Just install anything that you want from the cd and reboot. Once you come back get the betas that you want, usually Rage3dhas the newer betas, download the driver and unzip it to a folder that youve created to store the files once thats done use your device manager choose properties and select update drivers, point it to the file you created and let it install. reboot and your done.
