Hey im a pretty hardcore gamer/overclocker
right now i have a p4 1.8a oc'd to 2.7, thats running 400fsb overclocked to whatever i forget, anyways
is it worth upgrading to a 3.2c or an amd? i know there are new vid cards coming out within the next few weeks, but im more worried about buying an amd or p4 and then intel throwing some new processor out its ass that will dominate amd :\ are there any new info on the prescott issue, or is it better off to just go buy an amd fx, or go with the mobile barton 2500, or go with p4 3.2c.
my plan is to have upgraded cpu/mobo/ram/vid card in time for quakecon, and i got the cash to spend, but I hope pci express and all these other goodies will be out by then, quakecon is in august
