My current system is:
-AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.21 Ghz
-DFI INFINITY Ultra socket 939
-Crucial Ballistix 1GB (2 X 512)
-ASUS NVIDIA GeForce EN6600 GT 128MB
-Acer AL1714 17" LCD monitor

I am thinking about upgrading my system with 2 GB of ram and a new video card. I was considering the 8800 GT but my motherboard only has a PCI Express x16, while the
8800 GT is PCI Express 2.0. Will the 8800 work with my system, or is there another card that would be better suited? Is my system even worth upgrading?
