I have couple of machine at work that run P II 233 on a Intel Atlanta motherboard based on the 440 LX chipset (Micron Millennia). Whats the cheapest way to squeeze some more from the system. I looked into evergreen technologies processor upgrades but they do not work with the atlanta motherboard. any other idea rather than changing both motherboard and CPU. I am not looking super fast machine but anything that can speed up things for around $100 per machine.

thanks

As long as you have the latest BIOS upgrade, you should be able to get a Celeron 533 onto that board. Forget about any sort of overclocking though, since there is no manual control of any sort on that motherboard.
