Don't get me wrong, I'll take advantage of o/c'ing where possible, but I would rather save some money. It'd be nice if I could get it all for under $300 shipped w/ rebate ... about $15 shy of that.

A64 3000+ (Venice) is $120 ... is it worth the $20 over the Sempron 3100?

Thanks...

Would love to but I can't afford it ... I'm already pushing outside my budget as it is with the A64 3000+. I just figured the extra cache would help in gaming.

Check out the for sale forum here. Might get a good deal as people are upgrading to dual core chips.

That's a good idea. I just realized I'll be needing a new PSU for PCI-E too so hopefully I can find some good deals.

Make a post on the FS/T forums here, some really good deals going around.
