I currently am running a Gigabyte Geforce 6600GT PCI-Express card on a Asus A8N-SLI motherboard. I wanted to get a better card for christmas and was thinking of buying a 6800GT but was wondering if there was a better card to buy that has better performance that will work on my motherboard.

Is there a better card than a 6800GT PCI-Express that's worth the money? Also what brand names do you guys recommend? I haven't had any issues with my Gigabyte but if there is a more robust brand out there, please let me know.

Thanks a million!

Look at the stock heatsink/fan on that puppy.

Although this card is practically same specs but it's more money...I can't figure out why:

What ya think?

That gigabyte card looks sweet. Air cooling doesnt get much better than with a zaman vf700.

You can't go wrong with the Gigabyte 7800GT with Zalman cooler that you picked. The cheapest 7800GT is $288, but adding a Zalman to it would make it cost much more.
