Upgrading my system...

I'll be upgrading my system in a month or so, and I was wondering what should I get. This is what came up with for a prettey decent system.

Asus P4P800 Deluxe motherboard
Intel P4 Prescott 3GHz
1.5GB of PC3200 400MHz RAM
WD1600JD 160GB SATA HD

All the other component will come from my current system (vid card, optical units).

Should I get the new PCI-E motherboards? if I do, I'll have to get only 1GB of RAM as I would't be able to afford anymore. Plus, I'd have to get a new graphics card.

Is there any real reason I should spend like $300 more for a PCI-E system? I'm a web designer, I work a lot with graphic software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, and I have lots of programs running at the same time (wich is why 1.5GB of RAM should be plenty).

Pentium III 866MHz
512 PC-133 of RAM
20+40GB HDDs

It's still a pretty good system, at least it lets me do my job. However, I do feel that sometimes I need something more powerful.
