Hi guys I am looking to spend about $600 bucks on this upgrade, willing to spend an extra $50 or so if it is going to make a difference and I want to upgrade all the parts mentioned in the title.

So the platform I'd like to use is the new AMD 64 one either opteron or the standard AMD 64, because I can keep my current 1 gig of PC 3500 DDR and just add that in.

So my question is what would you guys suggest to this part order here to make it a better performance bang for the buck!

-eVGA Geforce 7800GT CO 256-P2-N519-AX Video Card - Retail
which right now comes with a eVGA motherboard for free
-eVGA 133-K8-NF41 Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

-AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 1GHz HT Socket 939 Dual Core Processor - Retail
or
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ 1GHz HT Socket 939 Processor - Retail

Total right now is $652 shipped (X2) or $570 shipped (3700)

Ok my main questions about this arrangement are:

1) Is this eVGA motherboard a piece of crap or is that a good deal?
2) Is this dual core processor going to offer me a large noticeable performance difference compared to a cheaper single core processor that is still and AMD 64?
3) Will my thermal take power supply mentioned in my sig be able to power all this sufficiently?

Thanks

*Edit - decided to hold off on memory upgrade for a few months*

How is the support from that board manufacturer though? I have never heard of them, also now I am thinking of the eVGA 7800GT that will be 265 after mail in rebate.

Between that 349 x1800XT vs the 7800GT for 265 after rebate what would you go with keeping in mind future proofing and current money spent.
