Upgrading my Buffalo WHR-54S router with DD-WRT v2.4

I have the DD-WRT v2.3 std installed since Sept, 2006.

Can I just go to the router's DD-WRT Firmware Upgrade page and specify the new v2.4 bin? Or do I need to do the reset, reload factory default, then run the tftp put command?

Should I just use the micro or should I stick with the std bin?

No, you don't really need to do a reset. Go with the generic standard. To upgrade, just go through the upgrade page.
