upgrading most of my computer

Video card: ASUS EN8800GT/G/HTDP/512M Geforce 8800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card Retail for 269.98

Parts I already have:
2 hard drives one is wd 200gb 7200rpm and a maxtor 300gb 7200rpm

monitor: samsung 216bw 21.6"

disk drives: Nec dvd rw and Liteon dvd rw with lightscribe

What do you guys think?
 
pretty good parts all around, but you might have been better with a corsair 520 (psu instead of the ocz, though their is nothing wrong with the ocz), I would not have gotten an open box board (warranty, accessories), and you could have gotten a cheaper core 2 and overclocked (or gone for a q6600).
 
I thought it was worth the risk to buy the open box asus. the prize difference between it and the retail version is quite a bit and newegg has a 15 day return policy on open box items. I think quad core are a waste right now and I don't like overclocking very much because I expect my components too lasta while. Maybe I will overclock a little bit.
