Upgrading Monitor

So as the Holidays and New year come around I'm looking to finally upgrade my monitor. For as long as I can remember Ive been using my Gateway Vivitron 17" CRT, its ancient but its gotten the job done. Im ready to step into the world of LCD monitors now as Ive heard they're pretty much up to par with CRT monitors with gaming, which is really important to me when deciding(I need no ghosting ).

Anyway, right now the SAMSUNG 226BW 22" is looking like a really great buy. So I posted here to see what you guys thought, or what monitors you would go after. Any questions/info you need about my current setup, please ask.

It's not bad. If you are not too particular about brand or performance, you might be able to find a 22" LCD for a lower price.

Just wanted to let you know I have the Samsung 226BW 22" and I couldn't be happier for the performance.... I upgraded from a Samsung 17'' LCD and it was a major leap for me. Make sure that when you take the leap to the 22'' LCD your computer can handle the larger resolution rates that you will be hungering for!
