Upgrading mobo, processor, case and RAM. Chipset?

I want to put an ASUS Maximus Formula/SE LGA 775/Intel X38 motherboard, an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 processor and Corsair Dominator 2 GB DDR 1066 memory into a new case and swap over my old hard drives, video card, etc. I want to continue to run the Windows XP Pro on the two hard drives I have.

This should all be fine, except I have to update the chipset drivers, correct? What is the best way to go about doing that? Can this even be done easily?

If possible, should I change the chipset drivers on my hard drives while they are installed in the old chassis, pull it out and reboot it in the new chassis? Should I make the changes after install into the new setup? Will it even boot up that way?

Thanks for you help,

Steve Woodman
