I am running a pc with vista that only has 512mb of RAM i would like to upgrade it atleast the recommended 2gb of RAM. I have very little knowledge of RAM, so any help offered would be appreciated.

This is the RAM that is in there now. current RAM

Would it be possible to upgrade to this? possiblity? 2x2gb

Is there limits to the amount of RAM a motherboard can take?

Yes.
Check the MB manufacturer support site for memory specifications for your board.

Easy solution - just visit crucial.com and use their memory finder tool. Buy the memory directly from them & they'll guarantee compatibility with your board.
