Greetings!

i have been lurking here for a while and after many fruitless searches, I have decided to post my question. I currently have an AMD XP 2400 in a store-bought HP system and I am thinking of doing an updrade. I am looking at this as primarily a gaming and mp3 burning rig.

Will I see a big jump in perfomance if I went with a AMD 64 3200? I've read the guids for mobos and am still undecided if I will OC.

I will be transfering my existing hard-drive, memory and video card to a new ATX case.
