Upgrading MacBooks

Friend needs to upgrade his MacBook's HDD.
What kind will he need?
He has 80GB. He prefers 120GB or more. 160 is also good, he says. Budget is under $200.
I dont know if it will be compatible. Not familiar with Mac Hardware.

Is it a MacBook Pro? If so then any SATA Notebook HDD will work. I think the older MacBooks used an IDE interface so just don't get SATA.
