Not BB messenger, an app for each, but they all update the messages app so all come into the stream with all messages, mail, IM, facebook, etc. Fast app switching on the Storm is done via holding down the BB button. I have a stack of apps running at any one time, too, our Storms are on BES, and I use GPS quite a bit for mapping or tracking.

The 5.0 hybrid, while OK, doesn't really have the best of the best. The 15x I have isn't in the wild yet afaik and the 5.0's out there are pretty old and alpha-y. In essence there is still a great deal of Storm OS work going on.

Ah, I c. That's cool then. I just didn't like having to go and open up all those apps. Setting up the Storm can be a PITA. I did it today w/ Storm #3 from scratch to try and keep the mem leak to a min. Oh well, less than a week for my Tour! Phys keyboard + more ram = win! Too bad it didn't support wifi and have a slide out landscape keyboard...and run WebOS. Hehe.

My MSN and Gtalk log in upon boot up. If you set them to log in automatically it's as easy as that. :)

You'll like the Tour. Good unit, but shame it doesn't have the touch tracking that the Gemini has. The trackball is soo outdated compared to that.

I haven't used a Pre yet...so I suppose I should just stick it out with my Dare and wait?

I've used a USB cable and BitPIM.....easy to do if you have the cable that works with your phone.
