Upgrading LapTops - Is it possible

I recently got a Laptop - Used but hey - it was free. Birthday gift 🙂 My question is; how easy is it to upgrade it.

I know that I can add memory to it; there is an access panel on the bottom for that; but the processor is only 150mhz. Can I replace that with a faster CPU or is that going to me more trouble then it is worth. The Laptop is a Compaq Presario - Model 1210.

If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks.

processor? hmm, not sure about that one, im sure you could...but probably not enough for it to be worth the trouble...

HardDrives and Memory is the easiest thing to do...

waht are you gonna be using it for? i'd just max out the memory and a bigger HD and that should help.
