Upgrading laptop CPU & RAM. Worth it?

Okay, say that I've got an older laptop, a P133, and I want to let it upgrade to a P300-400 and the memory from 32 MB to 64-96 MB RAM. Would this be worth it, or could I better buy a new(er) laptop?

doubt that you'll be able to upgrade the cpu as it's probably soldered in. your best bet is to get as much memory as you can for improved performance!
whether it's worth it is a question only you can answer.

most likely the RAM is EDO SODIMM, which the price is sky high right now.. talking about $100+ for 64MB.. and since It's a P133, if you MB supports, you might be able to upgrade to a Pentium 200 classic, or if you can find a Winchip, you can probably get a 240 out of it.

I'd say it's not worth it.
