Upgrading JB 3GS from 4.0?

I went to jailbreakme.com to do the initial JB and wanted to upgrade to a later version. Is there an easy way to do this?

I am still running jailbroken 4.0 on a iPhone 3GS.

Nope. Not anymore. The easiest way would be to use ow age tool to create a new ipsw and do a restore from there

actually, i think upgrading to stock 4.3.1 and using redsn0w is even easier but that's just my opinion. it will also depend on the OP's desktop/laptop OS.
