i currently having a gtx 470 but im going to upgrade it to even a gtx 770 or gtx 960.of those two witch would be better?i know there older but after some searching there the ones in my price range
 
1050Ti 4GB or 280X would be decent if you can find them for decent used. Should be around there.
 
Hmm that is a good point. A 960 is likely the best way to go then, as long as it is a 4GB version. I would also consider 3 or 4 GB AMD cards if they can be found for a decent price, such as 7970, 7950, 280(X) or 380 4GB.
 
Hmm, looks like all the decent GCN cards on ebay are over $150, all the way back to the 7950. Just a bad time to buy video cards I guess.
