Upgrading from Win XP Pro to Vista Home Premium

If I were to purchase the Home Premium DVD would it come up and tell me I can't do the upgrade and let me do a clean install or am I SOL?
 
There's a CUSTOM install, that basically rolls all the old junk into a seperate folder, and then does a clean full install of Vista. Or you can use the double install routine rolling around the web.
 
In any case, I recommend a clean install, Vista should be an opportunity to start a new, the old XP stuff will only bring you a lot of trouble.
