Upgrading from one Version of Vista to another

Chunkee

Lifer
I have business now and will be getting Ultimate in my action pack as well as free copy from the MS feedback program. Is it difficult to upgrade from one edition to the other? 32 to 64 bit? Does it require a fresh install each time?

Thanks

JC

hey, thanks for the information...is the upgrade path simply a new serial number entry for activation? If I install business 64 bit now, and get my ultimate in may, and want to upgrade, do i just put the ultimate disk in? Do you lose everything? I am normally not this unaware but with the new OS's and upgrade paths...? I have always just performed a fresh install, but I am getting older now and tired of reinstalling everything 🙂

Thanks again Aberforth!

I am not entirely sure about this but Vista disc has all versions including Ultimate, what you have to do is during installtion you shouldn't enter "Serial Key" but continue installation by selecting the approprite version and after the installtion you must enter the key and activate from the Activation wizard.
