Upgrading from Exchange 2003 towards 2007

Hello my fellow members, for those with any experience, Are there certain things I should watch out for, once I upgrade from exchange 2003 to 2007 ? any pitfalls you might of experienced, or advantages after install ?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated .
 
Make a full backup if it's critical mailboxes. I've done it twice and the first time it couldn't load any of the mailboxes, the next time it worked fine doing all teh same steps. Not sure what happened. I would practive it in a VM then go to the physical side.
 
I assume you will already know this, but Exchange 2007 will require a 64 bit platform and a 64 bit version of the host OS to run Exchange 2007 on.
