here is my rig, 3000+ E3, 1G RAM, A8N SLI, and a singal 6800GT
i want to upgrade my system so it runs Age of Empires 3 above 30 fps, i am thinking about x2 3800 or 4000+. i do like to burn a DVD and watch a Dvix and surf the internet at the sametime.
will a x2 3800 make a big difference compare to 3000+?

i also tried OC the E3 3000+, i didnt get good results, dont know if it is bcause of the RAM, mobo, or the chip
Corsair 3200XL, 2-2-2-5, DDR 400

yes it will make a huge difference in how "smooth" the system feels overall as well as improve gaming with the new dual core optimizations that are coming (like the new nvidia drivers and the games that are themselves being developed to be dual core/processor aware)
