Upgrading from an 11yr old 19" crt

I've been thinking about the Samsung 226BW or the Acer 2216Wbd. I just dont know why I should get one over the other.

Here they are side by side.

It will be used for some gaming and photo/image/graphics editing.

I did read the sticky and I saw the Acer 2216 mentioned a couple of times.

And xtknight, GREAT JOB on that sticky!:thumbsup: Thats an incredible amount of information.

I think they are both good monitors - whether the Sammy is worth $50 more, who knows?

I would verify the Samsung is hdcp compliant if there is any possibility of veiwing hi-def video in the future ...
