upgrading from a X1950 Pro

Other than not wanting to spend a lot of money, my options might be limited because I only have a 375W PSU and I don't have a PCI-E 2.0 slot on my motherboard. Is it true that most PCI-E 2.0 cards will work in PCI-E 1.1 slots?

Yes. PCI-E 2.0 video cards are fully backwards compatible. Furthermore, the difference in performance between PCI-E 1.1 and 2.0 is virtually non-existant.

What brand/model is the 375W?

If your budget is fairly low, a 9800 GT can be had for ~$120, and can probably run on your PSU.
