Upgrading from 2800 to a mobile chip

Basically i want to do some overclocking. I have an opertunity to sell off my amd 2800 for $113, and i was thinking about going mobile. I want to hit 2.5 ghz if possible, actually i would be happy if i could just run a 200fsb to match my ram, but i know that might be hard to do. I was looking at the 35w AMD xp m 3000, for 140 on newegg...but i don't konw if the extra cost is worth it. What would you suggest for this situation. I have to keep in mind that i am in shuttle, so i can't be to picky... Let me know what you would do...

Got a link to that 35W XP-M 3000+ at Newegg? All I can find is a 1.65v version, which would NOT end up being 35W.
The 35W versions run at 1.35v, 45W flavors do their thing at 1.45v... So you can do the math on what a 1.65v mobile turns out.

I'd just take my chances with a MObile 2400 or 2500, not paying premium for the 3000. Then again, it's not going to be an earth-shattering experience, going from what an XP2800 can o'c to, to what a mobile can... even if price is the same it's not worth much time, maybe better to start planning Athlon 64 path instead, get a nice new case and mod the heck out of it.

I wouldn't waste your money on a mobile. They don't run that much faster, and require a premium heatsink for extreme overclocking. If I were in your shoes, I would instead sell my old system and apply some extra money towards a new athlon 64 rig.
