Do I just pull the old CPU and put in the new one? Or is going from Tbird to XP different?

As long as the mobo supports the XP, just switch them and make sure FSB is set to 133.

Tell me how much of a difference you notice...... I'm considering a 1.33 to XP2400+ jump in the near future.

I have done the switch to XP2100+ from the 1.333. The difference is amazing. It runs cooler and way faster.

Got a little side tracked but I am back at it. What I am doing is going from the 1.33 to a 2200+, GeForce2 Ultra to a Ti4200 and from a Gamer 5.1 with LiveDrive IR to Audigy 2 Plat.
Stock, 3181 on 3D Mark 2001 and 8993 with the Ti4200. Default settings with all background apps running. Next I'll put in the 2200+ and run it again.
