Upgrading - (EVGA 7800gt or CO) to Arctic Cooler (HS)

I am selling my PCI-E X850Xt PE 256 /w VIVO on ebay and will be upgrading to the 7800gt CO by EVGA. I was wondering how good the stock heatsink and fan are and if its worth upgrading it to the arctic cooler or something better (on air).

I'm doing the same, if i wanted lower GPU temps then the zalman would do just as well, and it's quieter. However i want the arctic cooling for the exhaust. It should help drop the ambient in my case by a notable amount by venting most of the GPU heat out the back. Thus it'll help the rest of my system keep cool as well as being quieter.

Stock heastink isn't too loud at low speeds, but if you increase it then the noise increases very fast.
