Is it possible?
[thread=2166825]I'm in a position[/thread] to exchange a laptop for a better spec'd one from Dell (XPS 15) - thing is, it is better-spec'd with the exception of the display, which I despise the lower-resolution option, esp. on a 15.6" screen!
I know that for that specific model Dell offers a possible upgrade to a RGBLED 1080 display: I googled it and it looks like vendors do offer it as a replacement panel - now is it possible to pry off the screen bezel, replace the display, and install the proper drivers onto the laptop? For all intents and purposes the pre-exchange laptop works fine, but I'd like to have a semi-game worthy system so I'd love to get the XPS; but the display is a huge factor to me in picking a system, so I'd like to know when deciding . . ..
