I'm looking for one that has agp 8x because I bought a vid card and my current
one can only do 4x.

How do I go about this? How to find one that will fit in the dell?

You will not see a performance difference between AGP 4x-8x. Almost all 8x AGP cards will work fine in a 4x slot.
