Upgrading CPU's in WinXP

Hey guys, I'm a little wary changing anything in Windows XP.
I just swapped out my old IWill KK266 mobo for an Asus A7n8x deluxe Rev2 board and had to reinstall Windows to get it to boot in windows XP.
I used the same processor I had before when doing the motherboard swap.

The question is, now that I have the Asus A7n8x installed, and a brand new Barton 2500+ sitting here on my desk:
Will I need to reinstall the operating system after upgrading the old 1.33ghz T-bird to the new Barton, or will I be safe just swapping them?

Much thanks!

well a motherboard swap is way different from a CPU swap. You won't have to re-install anything for changing CPU, RAM, graphic card.. etc.
