upgrading cpu for dell 700m

anyone knows if this is possible? i have a 1.6 dothan (i think) and would like to stick a 2.0 in there...the cpu isnt soldered on is it? i can open just open it up and remove it and replace it?

i do not think the cpu is soldered in, you can always call dell and ask them

the cpu is not listed as a separate part as it usually is in cases where it is upgradable/removable.
