Upgrading comp..

I'm currently have a set up of a Voodoo 3 3000 and a Celeron 400 @ 450 on a Shuttle LX motherboard.

I'm thinking of upgrading my CPU to a nice Celeron 700 (will it work my mobo, with the voltage differences?) coupled with a Geforce 2 GTS or maybe the Pro version. Or, I was thinking of getting a Celeron 600 and o/cing it to 680. What would my chance of accomplishing this feat be? My motherboard is quite solid, but I'm not exactly sure how far it'll go. Would a 700mhz Celeron be a better choice?

CPU speed isn't TOO important, since I basically just need something that'll handle the Geforce 2, and I just need something that'll get me over 50 fps or so in Quake III, or something that won't be maxed out at 1280x1024.

And if I have some money left over I might get a new sound card as well..what's hot these days?

I won't ever again take a chance on cpu's. I've purchased a few, and had really bad luck by ending up with bad overclockers. I bought my last P3 from Compuwiz1. He guarantees that they will hit a certain speed. Throw him an email, and see what he's got.
