care to elaborate?

Shop around at pretty much any asian dealer, sign a new contract and get huge discounts on phones, Tmobile branded or any unlocked phone.

I got a SE K800i for free signing up for a family plan at Tmobile at an asian dealer.

switch?

Maybe, if your upgradable then your about to be out of Contract. Find out if Cingular has better coverage in your area. You can try it out for the first month and get a full refund if you don't like it.

you're already a tmobile customer.. and your contract is about up and you're eligible for new phones but tmobile isn't offering you good phones/deals but if you were a new customer you could get great phones/deals, from amazon? and this is still tmobile?

you need to call and find a customer retention person... tell 'em you're disgusted that new customers get better deals than loyal customers and they can either fix that or you're gonna be a verizon (or whatever.. pick your preferred alternate provider) customer soon...

he's right. your shafted if you try to upgrade before 1 month after leaving tmobile. (it all policy of course :disgust: )

if you;ve been away from tmobile for more then a month THNE you can use the amazon or other company plans.

read this
CONDITIONAL $250 Equipment Discount Included: Your price paid includes an Equipment Discount of $250 that has been provided to you in exchange for activating a new, non-substitute line of service with T-Mobile and your agreement that for the 181-day period following such activation you will (1) pay your balance due to T-Mobile each month and otherwise maintain your account in good standing, (2) not disconnect this T-Mobile line of service, (3) not transfer this equipment to another T-Mobile line of service, (4) not change your T-Mobile service rate plan to a lower monthly service rate--this includes canceling or removing required PDA, BlackBerry, or smartphone features after your product has shipped, (5) not use this line of service to replace an existing account with T-Mobile. If these conditions are not met, you hereby authorize Amazon.com to charge your credit card $250 as reimbursement of this Equipment Discount without need for further approval.

and you only qualify as a new customer if you';ve not been with tmobile for 1 month atleast.

by all means DO NOT get cingular

living in NYC and tried pretty much all of the carriers... VZ, T-mobile, Sprint, Cingular

Cingular is the worst by far. stay away like plague.
