Upgrading cables on Promedias

Has anyone upgraded the cables on the Klipsch Promedias? I'm still running the stock 20awg cable (or is it 22awg). Anyway, I've read some reviews that said they noticed a difference in the sound. I was wondering if it's worth my time to fabricate the cables. Anyone done it and noticed improvement?

The cable is sorta lame isn't it. To me though it wouldn't be worth replacing since my hearing wouldn't detect the difference. 😀

Last X-Mas my brother got me the Monster Cables upgrade from Klipsch for my ProMedia 2.1

The monster cables look better, but I can't tell the difference in performance.

alot of ppl been saying its just a marketing gimmick, to trick ppl to buy more stuffs from em....i'd say if u have any friends or relatives which has the better cables, take 1 or 2 from em and test em out,if u can hear the difference, grab em from the store, else, don bother~

Cables make a difference when using high end speakers...well with stereo that is. Iunno about the computers ones but most likely yea.

I noticed a very slight improvement in overall sound (Monster Cable 18 gauge and bare wire connects) on my ProMedia 5.1. I don't know if it'd be worth the extra $$ to get Monster Cable (unless you can get the cable at a discounted rate 😉 ), but if you need longer cables, just get some generic 18 gauge speaker cables at your local home improvement store.
