Upgrading/Building a new System

My system's mobo just went out, with a really old 3ghz P4 and a non-PCI express video card, so I decided to upgrade.

I want to build a system around an e6400 or e6600 processor, with a good video card and 2x1 gb ram (matched to the FSB of the processor).

Right now I have an Antec Power Supply with a max. load of 410W, a 36gig raptor that is being warrantee replaced, an 80gb WD storage hd and a Cooler Master Cavalier 3 [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119075] that I picked up a while ago.

That being said, I also know very little about hardware compatability and optimization, much of what I said above was at the suggestion of a friend - so that I'd at least know the right question to ask.

I want to be able to run high-end games easily, even though right now my play is mostly World of Warcraft. I'd be willing to upgrade the power supply and case if it is required for good parts.

I have enough cash that I want to make the system good, but not enough that I'm willing to waste it. Any suggestions as to specifics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe it would help if I listed what I was conisdering:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400/E6600

ASUS P5B-VM Socket T (LGA 775) Intel G965 Express Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail[http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131043]

mushkin 2GB DDR2 Dual channel

GeForce 7950GT 512MB PCI Express x16 Video Card

Is any of this over/underkill? Would the E6600 be a significant performance boost?
Would all of this run well on my Antec Tru430 PSU?
