Upgrading BIOS, will it destroy my RAID config?

Hi, I want to upgrade my BIOS to the latest version. Will this break my RAID configuration? The site says it will reset the saved BIOS info - does that include the RAID configuration?

Thanks.

No.
You'll need to re-configure the bios settings to re-enable Raid, but that's all.
For best results, flash the bios in "DOS mode" from either: a bootable USB thumb drive, floppy drive, or bootable CD.
The Windows bios flash can sometimes fail.
And before flashing, disable any overclock settings.
After flashing, power off machine, unplug the power cord, and clear the CMOS using the CMOS switch at the rear next to the PS2 port.

Check if your BIOS offers an option to save configurations or export them to a flat file. If, that should allow you to save your existing config, flash, reset to defaults then restore your previous configuration.
