Upgrading ATI graphics card with new ATI card, reinstall drivers?

I've never been in this position before, so I apologize if this is a silly question.

I'm replacing my HD 5750 with an HD 7850 tomorrow. Since they're both ATI/AMD cards, do I need to reinstall drivers, or am I fine just swapping out the cards and booting up the system?

You might have to, just put the card in and see what happens. I went from 6850 xfire to my 7950 and didn't have to.

You should be ok, my 6870 CF to 7970 swap was that easy. Also recently had to RMA my 7970 and the replacement install was simple as well.

5xxx are all still supported by the latest Catalyst software package, so just do a software update, swap the card, and 99.99% you'll be fine.

If you were upgrading from a 4xxx series card you might have to uninstall/reinstall drivers.
