System Specifications:

I. Processor/CPU: Intel® Core™ i3-2120 Processor (3.3GHz)

II. Current Graphics Card: Integrated Intel® HD 2000 Graphics

III. Display Resolution: 1600 x 900

IV. Power Supply Unit Specification (Brand, Wattage, Ampage, Age). If possible, please provide a link to a website containing the power supply specifications: 300 Watt Power Supply (Honestly, I'm unsure of what Brand, Ampage, and Age it would be. I haven't opened the case to look as I just recently bought it from Sam's Club: http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod5720117#spec).

V. Case Specifications(N/A, Model, Length, Low Profile, Cooling, HTPC, Water, Silent): I am unsure on this, the Dell support says it should take a generic PSU for an ATX case.

Purchase Details:

I. Budget? Please be sure to include currency (If not USD), retailer preferences & specify whether rebates are a viable option. I would like to stay under $200 total if at all possible as I'm looking at needing to upgrade the PSU as well the Graphics card and also max'ing the memory to 8 gig's. If nothing else I could go higher but would need to be able to buy the items at different times. I have no retailer pref's and rebates could be a viable option depending on how I work the finances.

II. Any particular preferences (Manufacturer[nV or AMD], Brand[XFX, Sapphire, EVGA, etc], Cooling Solutions)? No, I really don't have any.

III. Do you plan to have any Multi-GPU solutions such as Crossfire or SLI? No, at this time from what I understand Blizzard does not support Crossfire or SLI for their games (at least according to the supported graphic's card post made for Diablo 3).

IV. Have you previously looked at a product(s) which you feel would fit your needs? I have looked at several different Video cards but am unsure as to what I would be able to use with this Motherboard and such.

V. What are your needs for this GPU? Which games(If any)do you intend to play? If you have this information at hand, what are the desired detail levels? I play World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, and Skyrim, along with watching movies and listening to music on the pc. I would really like to see Ultra/Max settings but with my budget would be happy with High Settings.

VI. Do you plan on overclocking the card you intend to purchase? No, I wouldn't know where to begin to do so.

Additional Notes:

I am not a complete newbie to putting in new Graphic's cards and memory but it has been years since I've owned a desktop and even then I wasn't all that great. I do have the ability to look up how to replace the items on my older laptop though as I am doing so.

Right now, I can play all 3 games on the pc with good settings. The problem is that after an hour of playing WoW I either have to log all the way to desktop and wait for the memory usage to drop or it will crash and when ctrl alt del'ing it will show memory usage at 98%.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you could get a 7750 and keep your psu. anything faster than that though and you will probably want to upgrade that cheap oem psu. I believe the 300 watt psus that Dell use are only rated for 18 amps on the 12v and even that is not possible in realistic conditions. I would say realistically you only have about 14-15 amps(168-180 watts) at best to work with on the 12v line when brand new which is where 90-95% of your power needs to come from. plus you dont want to push those cheaply made psus hard as they also lack good protection and can damage other components if it fails.

Thanks for the answer Toyota.

I have another question though, on the 7750 that I looked at it says it's a PCI-Express 3.0 (x16) http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...530&CatId=7387

I was under the impression that my pc was PCI-Express 2.0 would the 3.0 work with it?
Sorry I'm a little lost when it comes to the differences in PCI cards, I know the USB 3.0 is backwards compatable and will work in a USB 2.0 but don't know if it's the same for the PCI.

Also, is there a certain "brand" (Sapphire, Diamond, HIS, VisionTek and such) that would be better to get?
