Upgrading an AMD 800 ---> P4 2.53 problem with post

AMD T-Bird 800mhz
256 PC-133
Leadtek Winfast Riva TNT 2 Ultra (not sure if it is 2x or 4x)

New comp.

P4 2.53 533mhz fsb
Mushkin 512 DDR PC3200 Value
Intel 845 INTEL Board
leadtek winfast card

Both the 4 pin and the 20pin power connectors are connected.
Video card is the only thing connected, memory is in BANK0.
No screws are shorting the board.
When I pull the Mushkin and insert my Corsair PC4000 I hear 3 long beeps.
No beeps are heard when Mushkin is installed.
The 2.53 is used but has a 30day warranty.
I cleared the bios to defaults with the appropriate jumper.
The intel board is my brother's old board but it worked when it was in his system.
He has a seperate 2.53 that we are going to try out later tonight.

If his 2.53 doesn't work what are some other options? I feel I have tried everything.

What power supply is being used, and does the computer post at all?

It is a working Chieftec 350watt. It was pulled from my system when I installed my enermax. It was actually pulled from a 2 year old alienware chieftec case.

I hear the HDD's spin up and The mobo has a green light. CPU fan spins up.

Oh I also tried my X800 XT PE card to see if it was the video and that didn't do anything.

Try booting without CPU, and see what beeps you get.

Then put the CPU back in.
