Currently I'm running a 2500 Barton on an Epox 8RDA+ (1.1 or 1.3, earlier version) in an Antec Sonata.
2x512MB of PC2700 Kingston
BFG Ti4600
Win XP Pro
Nice stable little system, but contemplating the upgrade bug a little, mainly to shake loose a few parts to complete a 2nd computer for a gift that I have all parts for except memory.
I play Dark Age of Camelot, I prefer to run two accounts, but my current rig chokes on it a bit when I run 'em together. Eventually I'll scrape together a second box entirely for me, but not anytime soon.
I game, but I'm still enjoying Vice City and Thief 3, no Far Cry or Doom 3 for me yet, kids and mortgages kill my time and budget.
I don't overclock.
Contemplating swapping up to the 1 GB dual channel Geil kit at outpost for $139 and maybe snag a 9800 Pro from somewhere for reaosnable.
Will this make any real difference?
