Upgrading a windows XP Machine

I'm thinking about upgrading a machine with XP home SP2 on it. I want to remove one stick of 256 MB DDR and add 2 sticks of 256 MB DDR, for a total of 512 MB. I also want to add a hard drive. Will XP See this as a profile change, and if so, will I have to reinstall it?

Very likely that you WONT have to reactivate, but if you do its as simple as clicking activate online or making a 5 minute call to ms. Its a very quick and painless procedure.
