I was just wondering if I could upgrade my video card (ATI Mobility Radeon 7000) to a better one. My laptop is a HP Paviliion notebook ze4700 series.

Also, how hard is it to upgrade laptop memory, add an internal floppy drive or change to a bigger internal hard drive. Just wondering. I just got a sweet deal on a HP ze4700 notebook and was wanting to upgrade the memory from 256MB to 1GB and maybe buy an external hard drive.

Thanks for info.

You can't upgrade the video on laptops. The chipset is built into the motherboard. Also, I don't believe that they actually make a modular floppy drive for that model, so you'll likely be stuck using an external.

Upgrading memory on a laptop is very easy. Unplug the power and remove the battery first. Then look for a little door on the bottom of the laptop that is fastened by a small screw. It should be labeled "MEMORY" or "RAM". Remove the door and that will expose your SODIMM sockets. Your laptop should work with PC2700 SODIMMs.

Good luck.
