A friend wants to play sims2, but the hp xt963 needs some help. Here are the specs. I can only spend around $100 maybe $200. I have decided to get A-DATA 256MB PC133 System Memory Model VDABC2808 and either Apollo Geforce FX5700LE 128MB DDR PCI Video Card or Prolink nVIDIA GeForce FX5200 Video Card, 128MB DDR, DVI/TV-Out, PCI, Model "VTV-5200-128PD". This is only a 1.2ghz celeron, so would it even be worth going for the 5700le. It seems to only be alittle faster than the 5200 anyway. I would like to stick to new stuff also. I plan to order this stuff today or tomorrow.

I don't think that a new graphics card will help as much as a new proceesor. I think the sims 2 is more cpu based.

That might be true but my friend doesn't what to speed enough money to buy a new cpu, MB, case and all new ram. Also adding more ram and a new video card should help alot. It only has 128meg of ram now and Intel 810e intergrated graphics using 11megs of shared ram.
